Ahh Movie Night- The Ugly Truth
A rare thing happened in our household on Tuesday night. We bundled Max off to Gran’s for the evening so that Mummy & Daddy could have “Date Night”. It was great! For the first time in a long time we felt carefree and in love.
Awww…. We even managed to find a movie that we both enjoyed. The ultimate Girl Vs Boy movie The Ugly Truth had us both in stitches and in parts a little shocked 
Lol apparantly I still blush on dates with Dave.
Katherine Heigl plays Abby Richter- a romantically impaired morning news producer. Abbey has been on a life long search for ‘Mr Right’- the man that checks all the boxes on her ‘perfect man’ list. When she thinks she has found him Mike Chadway (Gerard Butler) bursts into her life and gives her the ‘Ugly Truth’ about what she has to do in order to land her man.
It is serioulsy laugh-out-loud funny though it is not for the faint hearted… As I told Gran at the end of the evening, “it’s a little rude in some places”. However a big thumbs up from both myself and Dave.
