The 12 week baby weight challenge- first gym session ouch!

So I did it. I got up yesterday and toddled down to the gym for my very first workout in a REALLY long time. I felt good, I managed to work out for an hour and complete most of the “sets and reps” (lol look at me talking ‘gym’ talk already!) that I was supposed to.

I have identified some areas where I need some definite work as I don’t seem to have much strength there but overall I was feeling good. Cocky even. That is until I woke up this morning….. Oh boy ouch! I have muscles where I never knew there were muscles and let me tell you I am feeling less than cocky today- actually quite sorry for myself.

Oh well, “eyes on the prize” and “onwards and upwards” and other cliches… I am off to the pool for my swim with Maxi… YIKES!
